Evalution - Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Our preliminary task allowed us to make the basic camera shots. I believe that our preliminary task was a warm up for our full product; therefore I have learnt the different shots and different camera angles that allow us to create the 180 degree rule when 2 people are having a conversation and also match on action to give it the filming effect. The different techniques that we used in our preliminary task have allowed us to expand it in our full product to make it look more effective for the target audience and more attractive. The preliminary task was like a pilot study for our full product, to have a test of how we going to film our full product with different angles and to make it to the best of our ability.

I have learnt that when we finished taking our first shot and we wanted to do the other shots another day we have to make sure that everything is in the same place when we take the other shots on another day, and we needed to make sure that our clothes and hair style is all the same. This is the major mistake that we made in the preliminary task, which we made sure that we didn't make in our final production. I learnt that everything must be the same, otherwise your filming would look altered which doesn't make it effective or attractive to audiences.

Looking back at our preliminary task, it was very essential for us to keep to the 180 degree rule to make the filiming proffesional and effective, with different shots coming from the shoulder from both talkers. I made sure that the 180 degree rule was used in our full product.

Try to spot the continuity error from 0.05 to 0.12. If you haven't seen it yet then play it back and keep looking at Anid's shirt.
